Psychologist - Frederikke Mørk
Therapy can be about working through life's challenges, developing the psychological skills that support a healthier and more meaningful life, or both. For many people, the goal is a combination of the two.
When life feels difficult
Stress and burnout
Anxiety and excessive worry
Low mood and depression
Life transitions and crises
Low self-esteem
Relationship difficulties
When the goal is to thrive
More energy and resilience
Better emotional regulation
Motivation and habits
Structure and daily routines
Focus and concentration
A healthier balance between ambition and well-being
Greater clarity and direction
THE GOAL OF THERAPY IS SIMPLE
I work from an evidence-based and individually tailored approach, where the goal is not only symptom relief, but lasting personal growth.
Together, we explore the patterns that keep problems in place and develop the psychological skills that make it easier to regulate emotions, build healthy relationships, make decisions, and live in accordance with what matters most to you.
Change rarely happens through insight alone.
It happens when new perspectives are translated into action and repeated over time, allowing the brain to form new experiences and gradually develop more helpful patterns.
A HOLISTIC PERSPECTIVE
Mind, body, and behavior are interconnected
Our mental health is influenced by sleep, exercise, nutrition, and other lifestyle factors, just as our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors affect our physical health.
For that reason, therapy may also include these areas when they are relevant to your goals.
About me
I am a psychologist educated at Aarhus University with experience in both psychiatry and psychological research, including research on emotional learning processes and anxiety-related mechanisms at the Karolinska Institute.
My professional interest lies in understanding how people change their behavior, regulate emotions, and develop the psychological skills that make it possible to live a healthy and meaningful life.
Alongside my clinical work, I stay up to date with research in psychology, learning, behavior, and physiology, with the aim of translating scientific knowledge into practical tools that can be applied in everyday life.

Frequently asked questions
What happens during the first session?
The first session is an opportunity to understand your situation, goals, and expectations. It also gives you the chance to decide whether I am the right psychologist for you.
How long is a session?
A standard session lasts 50 minutes. If you require longer sessions, this can be arranged.
Can you help with my concerns?
If you're unsure whether I'm the right fit, you're welcome to get in touch. Together, we can determine whether my approach matches your needs or whether another option would be more appropriate.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions depends on your goals and circumstances. Some people experience meaningful change after only a few sessions, while others benefit from a longer course of therapy. We regularly review your progress and adjust the process as needed.
How do I book a session?
You can book an appointment online or contact me if you have any questions before deciding to begin therapy.
